Late winter blossoms

Published in

Tuesday we went to a Candle Lit Vigil hosted by GetUp Albury Wodonga.   People told stories about how Mental Health had affected their lives and what they think the government can do to help.  Most people felt disapointed in what the politicians are promising this campaign.

We found our our friend Luis is moving to Barcelona and will be moving into our old flat.  We spent the night reminiscing about our life in Spain.

Wednesday in class we studied maps and learnt map reading techniques, it was interesting though time consuming.  I probably wouldn't mind if it was all land I owned.

Blossoms are apearing in my garden and in the neighbourhood.  Bulbs, Wattle and fruit trees are gorgeous.

Life is heavily based around politics at the moment, thinking about a sustainable future for australia.  There was a good documentary and discussion on ABC, Dick Smith's Population Puzzle.

Thursday I was so sick, I thought I'd be able to work all day, but spent the whole day in bed/bathroom.

Community garden day on Friday and we discussed what to do in Spring.  I got excited and planned out my spring gardens at home too, I'll have to make that another post though.

Friday night i stayed up late playing Star Craft 2,  I find it fun and challenging but I feel stress in the tough parts.

Sunday was a very efficient day, I decided my goals for the week would be, to finish a unit for TAFE,  Get a draft of the customers website done,  weed the front garden.  Clean the bathroom.  Get blogs up to date and get ready for the markets Saturday 21st for our gardening group.

Jan came home with three bicycles from Freecycle.  They need some work so he's got another project.
